Le Dragon

An oversized denim jacket in light-wash indigo, its back given over entirely to a hand-embroidered dragon coiling through a garden of peonies and lotus blooms. Built with fine beadwork threadwork and finished in Taiwan- and Czechoslovakia-sourced beads in pearl, silver, and jewel tones — scattered pearls and sequin scrollwork trail across the shoulders and sleeves, quiet from a distance, intricate up close.
